I hope to follow the path God would have for my life. I’m grateful He’s brought me to Africa and to study at University of Florida. Please pray I would be sensitive to His leading.

It’s About Them
There is a region of the world with the highest concentration of maltreatment of women. The 10/40 window refers to the longitude and latitude zone that represents this demographic disparity among others, such as poverty and religious persecution.
In the summer of 2018, I was asked to go to West Africa by the non-profit Women in the Window. The local leaders were some of the hardest working, joyful and loving women I’ve had the privilege to meet. What I experienced changed my path.
After seeing how these women had such limited access to education, I was inspired to help sponsor scholarships for them and to return to school myself. My goal is to apply the skills I’m learning to equip and empower them in whatever way God calls me to in the future.
I’m making plans to return to West Africa for the third time in Fall 2020. I’m looking forward to seeing what God will do.
